Requirements

HOSA ACTIVE MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS:

Members are required to earn a minimum of 30 HOSA Credits (service hours) each year to remain in good standing. A minimum of 5 credits must be monthly meetings (1 credit per meeting, does not include Guest Speaker Meetings). HOSA Credits can be earned by participating in the many activities offered to HOSA members. Below is a list of activities that will help you earn credits:

• HOSA Monthly Meetings (mandatory of 5)

• Guest Speaker Meetings

• HOSA Competition

• Fall Leadership

• Blood Drive

• Can Drive

• Health Care Career Fair

• HOSA Socials

• HOSA End of Year Banquet

**HOSA CREDITS CAN ONLY BE EARNED BY PARTICIPATING IN HOSA ACTIVITIES**

If the member is a graduating senior and has completed a minimum of 30 HOSA

Credits their senior year, they are eligible for a LHS HOSA Senior Graduation Cord.

• Each hour must be signed by a HOSA Sponsor

• No "double-dipping," service hours used for HOSA cannot be used again for NHS, Key Club, etc.
