Mrs. LaMarche joined the Bruin staff in 2016 with over 20 years of industry experience.   She has worked in Technical  Management & Support for Fortune 50 companies as well as organized and executed small scale design and development projects as an entrepreneur.   She has spent many happy years coaching high school and competitive soccer in the Magic Valley.  She has now found new sports to coach  - Esports & Robotics where she helps coach teams during the Spring and Fall seasons!   

Mrs. LaMarche  believes technology exists to solve problems and finds purpose in the application of all other fields of study.  She is excited to continue to better understand the many moving parts of education and hopes to provide helpful contribution.  Each day she strives to instill in her students excitement for the recursive and creative applications of CS.  To best reflect the workplace her classes are taught with project based technical exploration intertwined with the constant reminder to apply the immeasurable  value of workplace ready skills.  Students learn these skills as they are given opportunities to demonstrate  teamwork, communication, flexibility, patience, persuasion, motivation,  and time management .  In each class students prepare for successful internships, college, and beyond. 

Mrs. LaMarche has 3 adult children and just celebrated her 25th wedding anniversary at Disney World where her daughter lives and is enrolled in the Disney College Program.   She also spent part of the summer in Nashville @ the National TSA competition.
