Welcome to Lamar Middle School and Lamar Band Boosters. Lamar Band Boosters is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to supporting the band programs and Lamar Middle School and Fine Arts Academy in Austin, Texas. Band boosters is a great way to get involved in your students’ musical education and keep informed of upcoming band events and special functions.
Band Boosters are involved with fundraising, chaperoning trips (to include football games and off-campus performances), assisting with concerts, and organizing various band student events. Band Boosters work closely with the Band Directors and meet monthly to discuss upcoming events and information.
The Booster club meets during a typical school year on the first Wednesday of each month at 6:00 PM in the large band room at Lamar. Since this year is not at all typical, our meetings will take place on ZOOM and notifications along with the link, will be sent out via email before each meeting. We hope that you are able to join us!
