German II

Required Materials: 

Students will need the following every day in class:

• Something to write with, preferably a pencil

• A college ruled spiral notebook (that can be left in class)

• Courage to participate and make mistakes

Grading Policy:

Students will receive multiple grades per class period in the following categories:

• Quiz (25%)

• Test (25%)

• Classwork (50%)

Assignments are due by the due date. If you have an excused absence, you have the same number of days to make up the assignments you missed as the days excused. If an assignment is due the day you are absent, it is due upon your return to school. If a project was assigned in advance, you must get it to me by the due date.

Frau Howard will send home Teacher Progress Checks every Six Weeks for your parent/ guardian to sign. This should be returned for a 100.

Class Expectations:

Students are expected to be courteous and respectful towards their classmates, the teachers, the classroom, and themselves.

Students are expected to listen with the intent to understand. Language learning requires effort. Homework will be the norm, and students are expected to study their vocabulary outside of class.
