Procedure to be followed to get a membership

For Students:

• All students of Lalbaba College will become member of the library only after getting valid library cards from the library. They have to submit their "Acknowledgement cum Identity card" (Fees card) alongwith three recent passportsize photographs (for Honours students) and two passport size photographs (for general students) for new library cards. The cards will be valid for one year/ two semesters. Students have to take clearance from the library at the end of the session by submitting their "Acknowledgement cum Identity card" (Fees card) and all the library cards, failing which they will not get their admit card for C.U. examination. After clearance all the library cards will be returned to the students. In the next year after taking the provisional admission the students are to renew those library cards for another one year by submitting their "Acknowledgement cum Identity card" (Fees card).

For Faculties and staff holding a substansive post:

• All the persons of the abovesaid category do not need to follow any seperate procedure to make their library card. As soon as they join the college automatically they will become the member of the library.

For Guest Faculties and staff holding a contractual post:

• All the persons of the abovesaid categories are to submit an application recommended and forwarded by the teacher-in-charge of the respective department and the Principal of the college.
