Dr. Lakshmipathy R is a passionate Associate Professor of Chemistry, dedicated to advancing research and education in environmental sustainability, nanomaterials synthesis, wastewater treatment, and analytical chemistry. With a strong commitment to green chemistry principles, his research focuses on developing eco-friendly solutions for global environmental challenges, including wastewater purification, indoor air quality, and environmental impact assessments.
He earned his Ph.D. from Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), India, for his pioneering work on eliminating organic and inorganic contaminants using low-cost, surface-modified agricultural waste products. His research contributions include high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) method development, validation techniques, and applications of nanomaterials in environmental remediation.
Beyond research, Dr. Lakshmipathy is an innovative educator and mentor, integrating active learning strategies and metacognitive approaches to enhance student engagement. He serves as a Programme Leader for the Cambridge PDQ in Teaching and Learning, guiding candidates in reflective practices and formative assessments.
