About Me

I am a final year Ph.D. student in the Economics department of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I am an empirical economist with a research focus on macro-finance, corporate finance, and banking. I am particularly interested in how monetary policy affects bank and firm incentives, and outcomes. My dissertation spans essays on 'zombie firms' in emerging and advanced economies. I have worked at The Bank for International Settlements and The International Monetary Fund as a summer intern.
