At the age of 13 many of us were worried about things like the high school homecoming dance, or trying out for a sports team. But Lakita and many others the focus is to get better treatment. As her cousin my prayer is for her to have a chance to experience life like any other 13 year old girl and to see her filled with joy without worrying about when her next treatment will be.
