Brittany Taddeo - Co-President 

Hello Lakewood Families!

 My name is Brittany Taddeo and I am excited to be taking on the role of Co-President this year!  I am a working mom of 3 amazing little ones, Jack (3rd grade), James (1st grade), Josephine ( pre-k).  I love spending time with my family and friends we love to spend as much time outdoors as possible camping, hiking,  riding bikes, quads and dirt bikes. I am also an active member in the Congers Ladies Auxiliary.  I have lived in Congers my whole life, I went to Lakewood and graduated from Clarkstown North. My husband (Christopher) also grew up in Clarkstown and graduated from Clarkstown South.  I am truly looking forward to connecting with all the amazing families at Lakewood. 

Alexis Sherry- Co-President

Hi, I am Lexi, (Alexis) Sherry. My husband, Dennis and I have three beautiful little boys. My oldest is Cooper and he is in 2nd grade, Bryce is in kindergarten, and Austin is in daycare. Volunteering for my community has always been a great importance to me. Currently I am on the Congers fire house ladies auxiliary. I have always loved crafting, and I still have a small business that I run from home for personalized gifts. My main occupation is as a realtor in Rockland, Orange, and Westchester. I love working with my clients. I love to spend time with my family and go camping as much as we can. 

Alyssa Musiaro- Vice President

Hello Lakewood! My name is Alyssa Musiaro and I am excited to be continuing in the role of vice president. A little about me: I am a scientist who is currently working in the field of medical education. I am an avid reader and enjoy spending time with my family doing a variety of activities. Our first year as Lakewood Lions was amazing. It is such an amazing community to be a part of. My son Thomas is in first grade this school year and my daughter Ava will be in Kindergarten. Both of my children previously attended the CCSD Child Care and Early Learning Center and participate in a variety of sports like Soccer, Gymnastics, and Taekwando. 

My husband Matt and I were born and raised in Clarkstown. Me graduating from North and Matt from south. Since moving to Congers we have loved becoming more integrated in the Congers community and I look forward to being able to help foster strong community at Lakewood. The opportunities I have had so far to interact with the PTA, other Lakewood parents, and Lakewood staff have been so wonderful. I look forward to continuing to work with such amazing individuals to create opportunities and experiences for the students of Lakewood. I look forward to a great year ahead!

Lori O'Brien - Fundraising VP

Hi I'm Lori O'Brien! 

I'll be Fundraising on the PTA. 

I'm mom to three fun loving boys,  Benjamin, Russell, and Oliver.  My husband and I are both from here in Clarkstown. My husband is a Lakewood Alumni! I grew up in New City and moved all the way across the causeway here to Congers. 

I am an Occupational Therapist and a Fit4Mom Instructor.  I enjoy walking the lake with friends by my side and an iced coffee in hand. You would often find me and the boys running on a playground or enjoying storytime at the libraries. 

I look forward to working with the team in executing fun and memorable events that benefit all of our children! 

Peggy Tepelidis - Treasurer 

Hello Lakewood Families! 

My name is Peggy Tepelidis and I have been on the board as Treasurer for two years now. I really enjoy being part of this wonderful group. I have three children. My oldest Ioannis is currently in Third grade going into fourth grade. My middle child Alexander is currently in kindergarten and on his way to First grade. Both are excited for next year. Lastly I have a two year old daughter named Maria. Being a part of the Lakewood community is so special and feels like family. A little about me…I have enjoyed crunching numbers all my life. The word “budget” is a staple in our home. I work for an accounting firm in White Plains NY and have been here for almost 10 years. We moved into congers in 2017. 

I am looking forward to get to know more and more Lakewood families while volunteering in our wonderful school and seeing our children have fun and enjoy all activities our PTA has to offer.

Jessica Kunz - Secretary 

Hello Lakewood Families,

My name is Jessica Kunz, and I will be taking on the role of secretary for the PTA. I was born and raised in Rockland County and have been a resident of Congers since 2001.

I am happy to be a part of anything that can make our kids' experiences at Lakewood the most memorable and fun! A little about my family: I have twins currently in first grade, Dustin and Vanessa, who constantly keep me on my toes. My husband owns a commercial roadside company, which I work for during the day. This gives me some flexibility when it comes to being involved in all the memories made at Lakewood. We are big animal people and have four pets: two dogs and two cats. We love the beach, camping, and all outdoorsy activities.

I am looking forward to getting to know more and more Lakewood families and seeing our children thrive within the Lakewood community.
