Living in Lakeway
Lakeway is a pretty great place to live. I've lived here for about 10 years and it's been really nice. It has all four seasons, but it never gets too hot or too cold. The summers are perfect for outdoor grilling and the winters are a good time to get some skiing in at Lake Travis Ski Resort! There are tons of things to do around Lakeway, so you're never bored.

The Austin area is great for getting out and about too - it's only a short distance away from some of the best museums in Texas like The Bob Bullock Museum or UT-Austin which has an incredible research library on campus! And with all of these things to do you'll never have any free time because this town doesn't sleep! Many of the best homes are on lakeside property. Lake Travis is the largest freshwater lake within Texas and Lake Travis Zipline and Boating Water Boarding are just some of the fun things do on Lake Travis.
Home Prices
The home prices are really affordable. You can find some of the best homes for under $500,000 and with all the amenities you could want like central air conditioning or an a door pool in your backyard- it's worth looking into this Texas town as a destination because there are so many things to do here. And did we mention that Lake Travis zipline has over a mile long zip line? That should convince anyone who needs convincing that living in Lakeway TX isn't going to bore them.
