Once again Tony donated a Bow for this years Memorial classic.
Regan Walters was the lucky winner for 2025 and he will have a bow custom made to suit his needs.
The bow will be laminated using a range of timbers and clear fiberglass and shaped to suit archers preference.
Longbow design
Albatross - "Toroa"
the specs are:
length tip to tip = 70"
brace height measured from nocking set on string to inside of throat on riser = 7"
draw weight @ 28 inches measured from string to throat on riser range somewhere between 30-50lbs
It has a endless loop custom string - 16 strand fast flight.
Recurve design
Hast Eagle - "Pouakai"
the specs are:
length tip to tip = 65"
brace height measured from nocking set on string to inside of throat on riser = 8"
draw weight @ 28 inches measured from string to throat on riser range somewhere between 30-50lbs
It has a endless loop custom string - 16 strand fast flight.

The bow will be finished to suit the successful winner with riser and grip cut to suit a left or right handed archer an final sanding with a clear coat finish.
This is not the perfect bow as I'm still experimenting with designs, materials and learning how to be a bowyer but for the chance to win a bow for $10 then its a bargain.
Online entries close Friday 17th January 2025 9pm, additional tickets can be procured manually with cash at venue.
Tickets will only be valid if payment is made prior to raffle draw.
Entrees will be drawn at the Don Finnegan Memorial Classic at prizegiving on Sunday 19th January 2025
All proceeds gifted to Lakeview Archers.
No warrantee is applicable - to date the previous 10 longbows or 6 recurves have performed well so you could get a lifetime of fun or maybe not for $10.
