Coaching: Head Coach Fred Perivier has been part of the Atlanta Ultimate community for over 20 years. In the early ’80s, he played on Chain Lightning, an Ultimate club team that represents Atlanta in tournaments across the Southeast and the country.

After many years of playing Ultimate, Fred’s dedication continued as a coach for local teams in the Atlanta community. He helped create the Atlanta Flying Disc Club and coached teams at Georgia Tech for 9 years and now coaches at Lakeside and Henderson. Fred has coached the Lakeside team for the past 15 years and Henderson Middle School for 14 years. Under Fred’s leadership the Lakeside team has finished 2nd place in State and taken 3rd and 4th place multiple years. In spring 2023 Lakeside finished 5th with a team of almost all freshmen and then won its first state championship in 2024. Check out this recent bio of Coach Fred,

Where and When: In the fall practices are normally held 4-6 pm at the Lakeside baseball field, and in the spring, the team may move practices to the Lakeside turf field, depending on availability. If necessary, practices are moved to Henderson MS. Most games are played late Jan. through early May, usually on weekends but it's possible we may play some scrimmage games in the fall with other school teams. An information meeting about the season is usually held in late fall.
