Location Data
LakeLaunch requests access to your device's location to center the map near you and to verify that you are within range of a boat launch before submitting a condition report. Location data is used only within the app and is never stored or shared with third parties.
User-Submitted Reports
When you submit a condition report, the following information is saved to our database: wait time, parking availability, ramp conditions, and any notes you provide. Reports are anonymous — no personal information is attached to your submissions.
Usage Data
We may collect anonymous usage data to improve the app experience. This data does not identify you personally.
Information We Do Not Collect
We do not collect your name, email, or any account information
We do not sell your data to third parties
We do not use your data for advertising purposes
We do not track you across other apps or websites
Third-Party Services
LakeLaunch uses the following third-party services:
Google Firebase — for storing crowd-sourced launch condition reports
Apple Maps / Google Maps — for map display
These services have their own privacy policies which govern their data practices.
Data Retention
All user-submitted condition reports automatically expire and are cleared after 2 hours.
Children's Privacy
LakeLaunch is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted within the app or at this URL.
