Sunset Marina

The Club’s 3rd event of the year was held at the Sunset Marina in Chelan on Friday March 20th between 10:05am to 12:30pm. Preceded by the Winter Field Day on January 24/25 2026 at River Walk Park in Chelan and on January 9 2026 at the Chelan Hospital for radio testing.

The Marina is a beautiful venue. We setup at the rear of the building to shelter from the slight wind.

Operating my Yaesu 857d with my 18’ foot Buddi-Pole antenna. Was a beautiful day. We moved to the front of the building due to the temperature and wind.

Had to quit early as the wind really started blowing hard. A pretty good turnout!!

Always enjoy transmitting from the field.
