Welcome!
I am an associate professor from the School of Environment, Geography, and Tourism at Western Michigan University. I have broad interest in research topics of extreme weather and climate change, with focuses on tropical cyclones, hydroclimatology extremes, risk analysis of nature hazards, mitigation and community resilience, and machine learning.
Before WMU, I worked as a postdoctoral research fellow in the Department of Geography and Environmental Engineering at The Johns Hopkins University. I got my PhD in Geography from Texas A&M University in 2013.
