This Privacy Policy applies to the Android application TingTing (com.stark.finance), published by Hau Tran.

TingTing helps users track bank balance notifications, view financial information such as exchange rates, gold prices, loan calculations, and receive app notifications. This policy explains what information the app collects, uses, stores, and shares.

1. Information We Collect and Use

Notification access and bank transaction notifications

TingTing provides an optional feature that reads supported bank balance notifications to create local transaction records for the user.

This feature only works after the user explicitly enables it and grants Android Notification Listener access.

When enabled, the app may process notification data such as:

• notification title

• notification text or message

• notification package name

• notification timestamp

• transaction amount, direction, and bank/source name parsed from the notification

This data is used to create transaction records and statistics inside the app.

TingTing does not collect bank login credentials, passwords, OTPs, card PINs, or full banking account access.

Local transaction data

Transaction records created from notifications are stored locally on the user's device. These records may include amount, currency, transaction direction, source bank or wallet, description, timestamp, and raw notification text.

Optional reconciliation integration

TingTing includes an optional integration that lets the user configure their own endpoint to receive parsed bank notification data.

This feature is disabled by default. If the user enables it and provides an endpoint, TingTing may send notification and parsed transaction data to the endpoint configured by the user. The destination is controlled by the user.

Device and app identifiers

TingTing may use device or app identifiers to support app functionality, analytics, notifications, advertising, fraud prevention, and referral features. These may include:

• Android ID-derived app referral code

• Firebase Installation ID

• Firebase Cloud Messaging token

• Advertising ID, where available and permitted

Analytics, crash reports, and diagnostics

TingTing uses Firebase and related services to understand app usage, improve stability, configure app behavior, and diagnose crashes or errors.

Crash and diagnostic reports may include app version, device model, operating system version, crash logs, and limited diagnostic data related to app errors.

Advertising and attribution

TingTing may show ads using Google AdMob and may use attribution services such as AppsFlyer. These services may collect advertising identifiers, device information, app usage events, and ad interaction data according to their own privacy policies.

2. How We Use Information

We use collected or processed information to:

• provide the balance notification reader feature

• create and display local transaction records

• maintain foreground/background notification processing when enabled by the user

• improve app stability and performance

• provide app notifications

• show and measure advertisements

• prevent abuse and support referral or attribution features

• troubleshoot bugs and parsing issues

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell personal data.

Data may be shared with third-party service providers only as needed to operate the app, including:

• Google Firebase for analytics, crash reporting, remote configuration, cloud messaging, and app installations

• Google AdMob for advertising

• AppsFlyer for attribution and analytics

• User-configured reconciliation endpoints, only when the user enables that feature

These third-party services process data according to their own privacy policies.

4. Data Storage and Retention

Transaction records and notification-derived data are primarily stored locally on the user's device.

Data stored locally can be removed by clearing app data or uninstalling the app.

Crash reports, analytics, advertising, and attribution data may be retained by third-party providers according to their own retention policies.

5. User Choices and Controls

Users can control app permissions from Android settings.

Users may:

• enable or disable Notification Listener access

• disable the balance notification reader feature

• clear local app data

• uninstall the app

• reset or delete the Android Advertising ID from device settings, where supported

• remove any user-configured reconciliation endpoint from the app

If Notification Listener access is disabled, TingTing will no longer read bank notifications.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical measures to protect data handled by the app. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.

Users should only configure reconciliation endpoints they trust, because data sent to a user-configured endpoint is controlled by that endpoint.

7. Children's Privacy

TingTing is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
