Cheolkyu Shin (신철규)

Brief Biography

• Cheolkyu Shin is an assistant professor in the Division of AI Convergence, Hallym University, Chuncheon, South Korea, from 2024.

• He recieved his Ph.D. degree in the Department of Electrical Engineering from KAIST, Daejeon, Sourth Korea, in 2013.

• From 2013 to 2023, he was with Samsung Research, Seoul, South Korea, where he actively contributed to 3GPP LTE (4G) and NR (5G) communication technology developments and standardizations. 

• His research interests include smart mobility/positioning, NTN, EdTech, and the general area of AI-driven networked systems and services.
