We are part of the Department of Computer Science of the University of Milan. The laboratory is led by Nicolò Cesa-Bianchi, We study the foundations of AI and Machine Learning focusing on the design, analysis, and testing of machine learning algorithms. Our research spans online learning, multi-armed bandits and reinforcement learning, active learning, multi-agent learning.  Applications range across a variety of domains, including digital markets, graph mining, and bioinformatics.
