Laia dellaGro
VIDEO GAME DESIGNER
DIGITAL ARTIST
Hi, I’m Laia Rueda Pujol, a Barcelona-born digital artist sharing my work under the moniker Laia dellaGro. I have a background as a 3D generalist with a foundation in visual programming.
Although I recently graduated with a degree in Digital Arts at La Salle URL, I have already worked professionally in the industry. I have exhibited at MIRA Festival, among other venues, and been interviewed as emerging talent by BUMP!, the Digital Culture Blog supported by the Generalitat de Catalunya.
I led the visual coding for Nereides Efímeres, a gaming experience designed and developed alongside Aina RN. This is my most significant work to date. It has been exhibited at MIRA Festival, Digital Focus, Dream3 — La Tercera Realidad and ART NOU. It also features in publications such as ¬ACCESOS and CORTO DE VISTA.
Most recently, I contributed to the creation and live VJing of the visuals for Jo, Núvol. This project is a contemporary 30-minute opera created for the Òh!pera project, an initiative of El Gran Teatre del Liceu.
I also have experience in narrative design and writing through my work on the recently released video game Clue: Murder by Death by the indie studio Cocodrolo Games, with whom I attended events such as Gamescom and IndieDevDay.
