Hi everyone, my name is Clarisa!
I have lived in Redwood City for almost 22 years and have two daughters. One who recently graduated with a Masters in Social Work from San Jose State University and the young one who is an undergrad at UC Berkeley. Some years ago I decided to change my path and share more of my knowledge and nurture, what better way than by nurturing babies and children! I worked for a local daycare for about a year and that’s how I concluded I wanted to be more hands-on, so I decided to pursue my license in a family day care home. I love motivating kids and their parents by teaching them that even though certain tasks may seem difficult, being persistent will eventually get them to accomplish their goals, no matter if they are 5 months or 4 years old. I love being able to see how kids grow and be part of that process by giving them the tools, love and inspiration that is needed.
I have my Family Day Care Home license and certificates in CPR training.
