Laboratory For Advanced Energy, Biological Fluids, & Imaging
ABOUT
LAEIBI’s research focus deals with sustainable energy development, vascular flows over compliant surfaces, interactions over environment factors, transport and interactions over surfaces, microbial interactions with complex interfaces, and active particles near oil water interface.
RESEARCH
One of the lab's current projects focuses on the implications of a nano strain sensor, which was developed by research professor Dr. Maryam Jalali. The sensor is used to record a surface's nano deformation. The goal is to understand protein absorption onto surfaces, fluid-structure interactions, biofouling, and antifouling coatings.
NEWS
The Royal Society of Chemistry published Samuel Cheng's 3D coffee stain structures.
