Naomi is an aspiring writer with passions for psychology, wellness, and creative writing. As an African American woman raised in middle class Worcester Massachusetts, she understands the importance of diverse voices within literary media and thus includes such characters in her writing, especially those that can comment on the uniqueness of the Black experience. She intends to pursue a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology so that she can become a therapist and provide mental health treatment to diverse sets of people. In her downtime she enjoys reading, writing stories, writing/singing songs, spending time with her family, and cuddling with her cat.
