Gabriela Castillo-Miranda (she/her) is an Afro-Caribbean American Latina actor, comedian and writer currently based in South Florida. She was born in Havana, Cuba, and has African, Spanish, Portuguese, and Chinese ancestry. Gabriela earned an MFA in Acting from the University of South Carolina's Professional Actors Training Program, a BA in Music from Northern Kentucky University, and completed the Second City Conservatory Program in 2022.
Gabriela wrote, co-produced, and performed the solo show Lady Alhambra for the 2018 MFA Solo Show Series at the Center for Performance Experiment (Columbia, SC). She is now adapting it into an ensemble full-length play with music and dance. She's a contributing sketch writer for Ratas De Dos Patas, and has written for their variety shows Ratas Gigantes EspectaCÚLO (2025), Elementos del Alma: A Day of the Dead Experience (2024) and Ratas Gigantes (2023).
