Recognize a Star Student

Program Overview: When students are demonstrating exceptional behavior, staff members may fill out the link below to recognize the student’s contributions to a positive school culture and climate. This form will then be routed to the administration. Ryan or Jess will then recognize those students for their achievements.  

OCTOBER 2024

KEANDRE IN MR. DELLICARPINI'S ROOM

Reason for Nomination: Keandre has made TREMENDOUS growth this school year at LADSE North! He consistently demonstrates exceptional effort, participation, kindness, and all-star behavior. He has progressed in all aspects of his learning, and has demonstrated the ability to transition to various locations in the building independently. Most importantly, Keandre is remarkably kind and caring, and is always striving to make other's days brighter. We are so immensely proud of the progress he continues to make academically, socially, and emotionally this school year, and it is a pleasure having him with us at LADSE North School. Keep up the amazing work!

Elizabeth in Mr. Kemp's Room

Reason for Nomination: "Elizabeth has made tremendous progress this school year and has had numerous 100% days. She has done a wonderful job getting her work done, and has been respectful and responsible in school. Way to go, Elizabeth!"

DONOVAN IN MR. PIERRE'S ROOM

Reason for Nomination: 

When a primary student on Donovan's bus route had a bloody nose, Donovan went above and beyond to locate Kleenex and helped calm the student down. He was incredibly patient and showed genuine care for his younger peers throughout the duration of the incident. Way to go, Donovan!

ANASTASIA IN MS. SAM'S ROOM

Reason for Nomination: 

Anastasia has been doing a WONDERFUL job at school! She has participated in the different learning lessons in class, and has been so positive and caring about her peers. Anastasia loves to help out her teachers and students around her. She also will happily greet those she sees in the hallway. Keep up the great work, Anastasia!

ELLIS IN MRS. LAWRY'S ROOM

Reason for Nomination: 

Ellis has been such a wonderful addition to LADSE North! He always has a positive smile, is friendly to students and staff, and has made wonderful growth in the classroom. Ellis' bright personality, kindness, and superior commitment to his academic work certainly reflects being the Star Student of the Month! Keep up the great work, Ellis!

RYAN IN MR. CASTIGLIONE'S ROOM

Reason for Nomination: 

Ryan has really thrived as the CAAEL season has gone along.  He is quick to congratulate opposing players when they score, to help them up if they fall, and he selflessly will volunteer to play a different position or to sit so that his teammates get their first choice.  He also will hold doors open and carry things without being asked.  He is showing true leadership!!

Dalawn In Ms. crotty's  ROOM

Reason for Nomination: 

Dalawn has improved tremendously behaviorally, and is also the light of day whenever I see him! He’s always there for others, is the first to check if staff or students are upset, and is always willing to put a smile on their face. Dalawn always knows he’s supported and does not shy away to show the same respect back! Proud of you, Dalawn, for going above and beyond to prove to yourself that you are worthy :) so excited to see you continue to grow as a STAR student!

bryce IN mR. FITZPATRICK'S ROOM

Bryce won two awards this month! Way to go, Bryce!

Reason for Nomination: Bryce is an incredible light to LADSE North Academy. Everywhere he goes, he is always smiling. His energy is contagious and is such a positive student. I always look forward to his hello’s and giving me a high five. So glad to have met Bryce this year and working with him!

Reason for Nomination: Bryce is such a wonderful student and we are so happy to have him as part of our program! His amazing personality and genuine kindness illuminates the entire classroom and our greater school community. Each day when I enter the classroom, I am immediately greeted so kindly by Bryce with "Hi Mr. W., how is your day?" This is often before I can even get my key out of the door and greet him first. His care, kindness, and leadership within the classroom is extraordinary.
