make this the simplest dessert ever. It is super delicious and the caramelized sugar topping can really make it extra fancy and delectable. I love taking them for dessert to share with the teachers at lunch. We don't get the caramelized sugar topping but we definitely have a super rich and delicious finish to our tossed together lunches. I love the white chocolate version for its creamy, rich texture and the banana has an extra sweet finish.
1 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
1 3/4 cups Whole Milk
2 boxes Instant Pudding Mix
(White Chocolate/Banana/Caramel)
Optional:
Turbinado Sugar for Topping
In a stand mixer or large bowl, add heavy cream and milk. Once combined, sprinkle Instant Pudding Mix into the bowl. Whisk the mixture for about one minute until it begins to thicken. Then pour the thickened pudding mixture into Ramekins or small bowls and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
To Serve:
Sprinkle Turbinado Sugar on the surface and use a kitchen torch or the broiler setting on your oven to caramelize the sugar.
