The feast day of St. Nicholas is one of Fiona's favorites. She gets chocolate coins and a lemon-time (clementine). St. Nicholas has many amazing stories written about him. They aren't all rooted entirely in fact but they do help to spread the message of his kindness and love. St. Nicholas is said to have spent much of his life in Myra (present-day Turkey). He was born in the near-by village of Patara in the third century. St. Nicholas was likely very wealthy due to the loss of his parents at a young age and he used much of that money to help the villagers around him.
