Jane has served two terms on the UGCC Board, totaling six years.
She played in integral role in numerous WGA committees and her invaluable experience led to her appointment as Treasurer and later President, where she served two times on the WGA Board.
Jane's love for the club extended the course itself. She lovingly planted vibrant flowers, particularly near Hole 4. Her commitment to fostering the growth of the game was evident through her support of the Junior Golf program for several years.
Jane's leadership qualities were showcased in her roles as Captain of the State Club Team and Captain of the Solheim Cup (from its inception).
Her impact was instrumental in securing a new oasis on the course by allowing utilities to be run through her own property.
And if these accomplishments weren't impressive enough, Jane's passion for the game is evident in her astounding achievement of playing over 57,000 holes at UGCC, accompanied by 4 or 5 Hole in Ones.
Fritzi's commitment to the WGA was evident through her extensive service on the WGA Board for several years. Although she did not hold the position of President, Fritzi had the honor of serving in every other board position.
One of Fritzi's notable contributions was the initiation of the Ringer Book, which became an essential part of the WGA's golfing community. This creative and innovative concept brought a new level of excitement and camaraderie to the game, demonstrating Fritzi's forward-thinking mindset.
For an astonishing 25 years, Fritzi lovingly planted flowers on every tee box at UGCC. Her generosity and community spirit extended beyond the golf course by also donating hot dogs for the luau events.
A fun fact about Fritzi is that she holds the distinction of being the only remaining charter member of UGCC.
Peg's involvement in the WGA as Treasurer showcased her financial acumen and commitment to our success. She also actively participated in numerous committees over the years, offering her expertise and valuable insights to drive change and progress within the WGA.
Peg played a pivotal role in remodeling the women's locker room, transforming it into a comfortable space that enhanced the overall experience for female golfers. Her creative touch was also evident in painting the club's kitchen.
She took charge of Guest Day, ensuring that every member and visitor felt welcomed. Her dedication to creating memorable experiences was evident through her talent of decorating events. She poured her heart into every detail, making each occassion truly special. This extended onto the course through her years of planting beautiful flowers.
Peg's generosity and creativity shown through her efforts in making raffle baskets for events.
Her love for treats also brought joy to many, with a remarkable feat of making over 14,500 treats over the years.
