Founded on May 6, 2025, Ladies of Lee is a grassroots nonprofit dedicated to being a force for good in Lee County, Virginia. Our story began when a group of determined women came together, united by a shared love for our community and a belief that Lee County is worth fighting for.
Though our region is blessed with breathtaking natural beauty and ecological richness, Lee County faces real economic challenges. We saw the need—not just for change, but for action! And so, with a lot of laughter, hard work, and heart, Ladies of Lee was born.
Our mission is simple: to improve the lives of our fellow citizens in meaningful and lasting ways. One of the pillars of our work is creating opportunities for local citizens to get involved, take pride in their community, and become active participants in building a better future.
At Ladies of Lee, we believe that even small acts can spark big change. We are committed to making Lee County stronger, more connected, and full of hope—one project, one partnership, and one person at a time.
