Suriname

PF Suriname celebrated International Women's Day at the Santo Boma Prison, where they shared games, food, and many gifts. 

We thank the support of many organizations that made this event possible.

PF Suriname celebrated with the inmates of the Hazard Prison the importance of the role of men in the family, couple, and society.

They shared motivational topics, support group sessions and outdoor games.

Clarissa Post, intern of PF Suriname, represented the ministry at the Professional Organization for the Promotion of Social Work and was able to fulfill her objective of promoting the mission, vision and work of the NM.


With the support of the organization VSWS, PF Suriname received a donation of laptops to support the great work they do. 

PF Suriname was part of the radio program of the Pater Ahlbrinck Foundation, an NGO focused on community development in the interior of Suriname, in which they shared about the ministry.




PF Suriname delivered to four prisons a donation of slippers received from the organization Every Home for Christ.

Costa Rica


Gift boxes for children and school supplies were donated by the Christmas Shoe Boxes Ministry to PF Costa Rica.

Trinidad and Tobago


PF  Trinidad and Tobago made a special recognition for their donors to thank them for their support over the past 20 years.

In appreciation the prisoners played musical instruments, sang and shared their testimonies.

Colombia

Dorestela Medina, regional director, conducted the TPJ and STP annual review in Colombia. During the visit she met with prison authorities, internal and external facilitators, and graduates. She also conducted a training on adaptive leadership for the Magdalena Regional Office volunteers.

 Senator Lorena Ríos and eight judges partocipated in an STP graduation at the Modelo prison in Bogota.

This represented a major step in the implementation of restorative justice in Colombia.  

The Child's Journey

The program office together with the regional manager, Luis Bravo, conducted the Digital Case Management training for the TCJ team.

This will represent a significant progress in the management of the children's program.
