I hike, visit museums, read books, live my life – and write down the details that strike me. 

This website is partly an attempt to wrangle all my fraying threads of ideas into a cohesive web of theory. I've affectionately dubbed that project, "Schizogenesis."

In my private writing, I dabble in short fiction and I attempt to chip away at novels (mostly horror and science fiction), as well as poetry of dubious quality. I also write personal narratives (essays and a memoir), only some of which I share here. 

I earned my MA in English Literature from the University of Rochester in 2020 and I hope to qualify for my Level 2 WSET this summer. I live with my psychologically-abusive orange tabby near Geneva, NY.
