Work with Me: Strategic Consulting & Advocacy
While I often joke that I am the advocacy equivalent of three poorly regulated racoons in a trench coat, the reality is that I am capable of functioning in a wide variety of roles because I have systems-based, savant-type Autism. My wheelhouses are legal systems, clinical trauma-informed care, and radical accessibility. For these reasons you should help me become the fonder of an anti-human trafficking nonprofit in 2026.
That said, as a freelance consultant, it doesn't matter if you are a professional business, a grassroots nonprofit, an aspiring author, or an individual navigating a complex institutional structure—I am open to hearing how I can help you meet your goals.
What My 2026 Projects Look Like
To give you an idea of the diverse, nimble work I take on, here is what some of my recent freelance execution has looked like:
Trauma Sensitivity Reading: Secured as a sensitivity consultant for a seven-book contemporary fantasy set featuring heavy themes, ensuring systemic accuracy and psychological safety regarding depictions of human trafficking.
Legal Chronology & Triage: Contracted to build a comprehensive, chronological outline of events for a client who needed to organize a complex personal history for potential litigation, providing them with a complete, clear packet to present to interested attorneys.
High-Stakes ADA Drafting: Formulated a rigorous ADA accommodations request for the Indiana Bar Exam. Four out of five complex testing modifications were fully approved (with the single denial tied strictly to external doctor documentation rather than the structural drafting of the request).
Universal Design Initiatives: Collaborated with a licensed, community mental health professional to design a streamlined template for the National Park Service Access Pass. Once fully finalized, this pass resource will be hosted on this website completely free of charge.
Simply put: if I have the skills to execute it, I am willing to consider doing it. Because I operate from a systems-based perspective, I specialize in taking on projects where my combined backgrounds can move or restructure mountains relatively efficiently.
What You Can Hire Me For
I am available for short-term consulting, project-based contracts, and hourly advisory sessions across both corporate and nonprofit sectors. My areas of subspecialty include:
1. Accessibility & ADA Strategy
Drafting comprehensive institutional accommodation requests (for higher education, professional licensing boards, or corporate workplaces).
Reviewing organizational pipelines to ensure true, functional inclusion for neurodivergent and disabled individuals (both as clients and advocates).
2. Trauma Sensitivity & Systemic Consulting
Media, manuscript, and script consulting for authors and production companies handling human trafficking, systemic exploitation, or profound trauma narratives.
Advising community organizations on trauma-informed care structures and front-line staff interactions.
3. Program Development & Non-Profit Strategy
Grant Writing & Copywriting: Assisting early-stage 501(c)(3) entities with grant funding strategy, narrative drafting, and corporate sponsorship outreach proposals.
Structural Auditing: Helping grassroots organizations build clean, legally literate, and clinically sound community support workflows.
Have a Pitch? Let's Sit Down With Intention.
Whether you need a sharp eye to review a complex contract barrier, an advocate to map out an accessibility request, or a consultant to inject systemic reality into a creative project—if it requires getting things done with unshakeable efficiency, I want to hear your pitch.
Please note: I prioritize discrete, project-based consulting contracts that allow me to maintain my academic and physical balance. My health comes before my advocacy so my ability to take on similar sized projects at different times may vary.
A Hard Line on Shared Values: If we are going to partner, please know I do not align myself with individuals or organizations that undermine human rights, or companies that fund initiatives that do. I reserve the right to terminate our conversations or engagement at any time should your actions surrounding human rights initiatives change, or your views undermine the safety, integrity, or value of any part of the human collective.
With that in mind, feel free to drop your project idea directly to my desk: LabyrinthInitiative@gmail.com
*A Friendly Reminder: I am your friendly neighborhood JD, and am not a licensed or practicing attorney. If you require formal legal representation, please contact your local legal directory. Additionally, while I am an MSW candidate, I am not a licensed mental health professional. My inbox is not equipped to act as an immediate crisis or clinical support line. If you are in need of immediate services, you are strongly encouraged to reach out to 911 for an emergency, or dial 988 if you need a safe space to lean on (and there is absolutely zero shame if you do). 🖤
