Español con el Sr. Martínez

Bienvenidos a mi clase

Greetings from my Spanish class. Cristóbal Martínez-Arroyo is my name. But everyone calls me Sr. Martínez at school. I'm looking forward to my second year at Scholar Academy and I'm thrilled about the school's Spanish program, the amazing faculty in the department, and the lovely learning community that I got to know the previous year.

The Spanish department aims to introduce students to the language, assist them in honing their language skills, and make learning enjoyable.

From the three-thousand-year-old city of Cartagena (Region of Murcia), I am a Mediterranean Spaniard. In my native Spain, at Universidad de Murcia, my alma mater, I studied education and humanities. Spain's language and heritage have captured my heart. I have the honor of being a native Hispanic who was given the chance to relocate to Utah with my family.

I am married and my wife is also Spaniard. I have four sons and a daughter. But only my youngest son lives with us at home.
