A technique to measure the magnetic flux density based on resonance principle using MR fluid is proposed here. The magnetic field sensor is designed by placing MR fluid placed in between the two piezo laminated circular disc resonators. The experimental verification is also done here.
Role: Student Researcher
Designed an Arduino 101 based Smart Home Controller Module which can be implemented to achieve a Smart Home environment. This controller will be able to control the lights in the home, windows and the sprinkler system in the backyard. The entire process can be automated for better power efficiency.

A sigma delta modulator was designed and implemented in SIMULINK for encoding analog signals into digital signals.

A walking stick along with an inbuilt camera was designed in order to support the safe walk of a blind person. The camera, along with the image processing techniques, analyses the captured image and sends a voice input to the user. This proposed model used Raspberry Pi and Linux as the operating system.
Role: Team Lead (team of 3)
A three phase detector for motor circuits was implemented in order to allow the motor to be running even when the power supply is detected zero. This project involves checking the three phase power supply. I used a LCD display in order to display if the connection is found or not also a buzzer to buzz whenever the three phase is available. This used the concept of power supply provided from different phases in order not to stop the flow of motor usually in factories and industries. This model was implemented using ATMEGA microcontroller and AVR studio as an interface.
