Simulation

This research investigates the development of traffic flow management and control strategies for LAAT systems. For this reason, a new LAAT framework that couples modeling and control of LAAT systems is developed, as shown in Fig. 1. The developed framework integrates the two aggregation levels, i.e. microscopic and macroscopic.  This research contributes to the literature with a novel LAAT framework that (i) models the air traffic flow and (ii) implements model-based traffic control strategies.
