Visible thinking is an approach to teaching thinking skills. This approach has two goals:
a) deepen content learning ;
b) cultivate students’ thinking skills and thinking dispositions.
In this workshop, teachers will be introduced to a variety of routines which will help them achieve these goals.

Students' primary maths skills need to be developed. These skills can be taught and practiced.
In this workshop, we will discuss some practices that help to build these skills, especially the high order thinking skills. The second part of the workshop will cover critical effective mathematic classroom strategies that comprise skills development.
