Visible thinking is an approach to teaching thinking skills. This approach has two goals:

a) deepen content learning ;

b) cultivate students’ thinking skills and thinking dispositions.

In this workshop, teachers will be introduced to a variety of routines which will help them achieve these goals.

Inquiry-based learning is only an open-ended approach to learning guided by students through questions, research, and curiosity

This workshop gives teachers the tools they can use immediately to increase the quality and quantity of student inquiry in their classrooms.

Students' primary maths skills need to be developed. These skills can be taught and practiced.

In this workshop, we will discuss some practices that help to build these skills, especially the high order thinking skills. The second part of the workshop will cover critical effective mathematic classroom strategies that comprise skills development.

إنّ الهدفَ الرّئيسيّ للمشاركة في هذه الورشة هو تقديم الدّعم الكافي لمعلّمي اللّغة العربيّة للتّدريب على طرق توصيل المعلومات ومهارات التّواصل الّتي تخدم العمليّة التّعليميّة في ربط القضايا النّحويّة والإملائيّة بالكتابة التعبيريّة الإبداعيّة.

مع نهاية هذه الورشة سيكون المشاركون قادرين على تعلّم استراتيجيات جديدة بوضع خطّة عمل لتنفيذ الأفكار الجديدة بهدف تطوير أسس الكتابة التعبيرية الإبداعية.
