The Littleton Academy Governing Board is comprised of 7-9 parent volunteers who serve the school in 3 year terms. The Governing Board is responsible for establishing and implementing policies that advance Littleton Academy's purpose. Vice President: Angela Bissett

Angela Bissett was elected to the Littleton Academy Governing Board in July 2017. This is her second year as Vice President. Angela received her Bachelors degree in Social Science with a minor in Speech Communications from Graceland University. Her work experience has been in the Human Resources field as a Corporate Recruiter and Senior Career Coach.
Angela is married to her husband Nick and they have two children currently attending LA. Tuscan is in 5th grade and Brooklyn is in 3rd grade. She believes Littleton Academy provides an excellent learning environment and education for students and feels strongly about the founding principles.
Angela served on the LASA Board in 2016-2017 in a newly created Communications role. She was the GB LASA Liaison 2017-2018, Communications Chair 2018, and Leadership Search Committee Chair 2019. She is also a Room Parent for both of her children's classes this year and has been a Room Parent for the past four years. Besides volunteering at LA, she also volunteers within her community in her neighborhood as well as the Ronald McDonald House.
Angela vows to make good decisions and sound policies to continue to make Littleton Academy a Charter of Choice school.
Beth Chatterton previously served on the Governing Board during the 2017-2018 year to fill a vacancy and has recently been appointed to fill a vacant seat due to a previous member relocating (February - June 2019). Beth has been in the corporate and non-profit industry for over 22 years in sales, marketing and communications. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Governing Board. She is also currently a room parent for Mrs. Davis kindergarten class and has volunteered in a variety of roles over the years and has enjoyed the journey at LA.
Beth is married to Greg and they have four children, all currently attending LA (8th, 5th, 3rd and Kindergarten). This is their 9th year here and has experienced a variety of things including two children that are dyslexic and utilize the resource team. In their free time they like to watch hockey, football, play soccer, listen to music, hang outdoors and watch movies.
Beth is excited to rejoin the board to help continue to move LA forward through the current change and ensure it stays to the founding principals and charter of LA.
