From working summer camps to coming from a big family, working with children seemed an obvious choice for Samantha Gilmore. Although she started her college career as a kinesiology major, she quickly had a change of heart (and declared major) and began her journey of early childhood education. In this interview, Samantha looks back on her eight years of educating and discusses topics such as teaching through COVID-19 and social emotional sensitivity within the classroom.
