Who we are

CKA Landscape Architecture sdn. bhd is a full service landscape architecture and planning practice that specializes in master planning, urban design, park and recreation and hospitality environments. We place an emphasis on the design and successful implementation of outdoor environments for clients around the world especially in Malaysia.

Our Services

Landscape Architecture

As leading a leading practice of landscape architecture, planning, and urban design, CKA landscape architecture’s professionals engage in projects of all scales—from a discrete urban pocket park to master planning. We believe that landscape and open space are essential elements of the infrastructure of great cities. Our responsibility as land-based professionals goes beyond fulfilling our clients’ objectives to also contribute to the greater health of the human and natural systems that underpin communities.

Landscape architecture at CKA involves the design of landscapes at a variety of scales—from large, multi-functional sites to small, intimate spaces. Innovative research into materials, lifestyles and landscape technologies coupled with a deep understanding of how people use outdoor spaces informs our unique design process.

Planning

CKA provides land planning and master planning. We integrate high-level landscape architecture into our planning work. Our plans make sensitive use of topography, landform, natural resources, vegetation, infrastructure and buildings, resulting in more liveable and sustainable projects. This approach can nurture new directions for the master planning of communities, campuses, workplaces, civic and commercial districts, transit-oriented developments, waterfronts, recreation, and natural system restoration. As needed, we pull together teams of consultants ranging from engineers, architects, planner, urban planner to environmental specialist and whose collective experience complements our own.

Urban Design

CKA involves the systematic layering of various cultural and natural systems in order to solve design issues of the city. As with planning, we integrate high-level landscape architecture into our urban design work. Whether it’s decaying infrastructure, a prominent urban district, high-density living, a river corridor, heavily used public spaces, or a series of transit stations, urban design requires a sophisticated understanding of integrating nature into dense urban environments. The multi-functional character of urban design is the key to its success.

Our Team

LAr.Che Khairul Anuar B.Abdul Majid

Director

With experiences in landscape architecture, master planning, urban design, environmental services and management, park and recreation, he established CKA LANDSCAPE SDN.BHD in 2001 and fully operated in 2005 as chartered landscape architect consultant. As the managing director of CKA LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE SDN.BHD in 2014, (Formerly known as CKA Landscape Sdn.Bhd) he leads the firm and responsible for the overall administration, development design direction and management of the firm.

Sarah Anis Bt.Sulaiman

Director

Joined CKA LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE SDN.BHD in 2008 as junior Landscape architect and designer as well as project landscape architect, she developed her scale on design and planning and take responsible for the design of Landscape Project including Park, Urban Design and Study, Residential and Waterfront. In 2014, she is appointed as director of the company and her capability in skills in design, she assists as director and lead the company. Her experience and knowledge lead the landscape consultancy work such as master planning, urban design and supervision.

Abdul Razak b Mohammad Rom

Associate Director

Joining CKA LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE SDN.BHD in 2020 and take responsible as an internal arborist. PArM Abdul Razak lead an integrated and comprehensive design in all landscape architects and consultancy work. Over 20 years of invaluable experience both in arborist and landscape architecture design. Abdul Razak have applied his well-rounded knowledge in numerous planning and landscape design projects spanning from luxury hotel and mix use, high end commercial and residential projects, to keep pace with the growing business economic globally, he has provided many he has provided many professional consultancy and project management services from arborist to landscape architecture

Ahmad Afkar Rashidi b.Mohd Rafidi

Project Landscape Architect

Graduated from International Islamic University Malaysia in Bachelor of Landscape Architecture (Hons) in 2020. Ahmad Afkar Rashidi b Mohd Rafidi gained her experiences and knowledge through a period of practical training with CKA landscape architecture during her study. After graduated he joins CKA Landscape Architecture Sdn.Bhd as a Junior Landscape Architect and given task as project landscape architect. With intention to developed his skill, He is responsible for the overall design concept, submission and implementation.

After a year’s gain experience with CKA, management on site such as Cyber South Masterplan (landed and highrise) and implementation and other such as PKNS, Perbadanan kampung Baru (PKB) and others, he can work individually or as a team to deliver the task given.

Muhammad Uqail Urfan b.Rizal

Project Landscape Architect

Graduated from International Islamic University Malaysia in Bachelor of Landscape Architecture (Hons) in 2020. Muhammad Uqail Urfan b.Rizal gained her experiences and knowledge through a period of practical training with CKA landscape architecture during his study. After graduated he joins CKA Landscape Architecture Sdn.Bhd as a Junior Landscape Architect and given task as project landscape architect. With intention to developed his skill, He is responsible for the overall design concept, submission and implementation.

After a year’s gain experience with CKA, management on site such as (PKNS) for residential, public park and sales gallery, Perbadanan kampung Baru (PKB) for design concept and technical drawing, ECER CORNICHE ROAD and others, he can work individually or as a team to deliver the task given.

Wan Azrul Amin b. Wan Mohd Nashir

Technical Assistance / CADD

Graduated from Diploma in Architecture from POLiSAS Kuantan in 2018. After a stint while practicing in SYAAQREENA HOME DECO AND SAIFUL AND SYUKRI EVENTS at Sri Kembangan, Selangor he joining CKA landscape architecture in 2020. He is capable in doing working drawing, detailing, submission to authority and graphic presentation for landscape design such as project Cybersouth Master Plan, PKNS, ECER and others. He is capable in working for the big team project as individually or as a team.
