ABOUT ME

I am a principal researcher at the Korea Institute of Public Administration. 

I earned my Ph.D. in public administration from UCF in 2025. My research interests revolve around examining ways in which governments and the public sector can decrease administrative burdens to provide more responsive and effective services aligned with citizens’ needs and expectations. Specifically, I am interested in studying the outcomes of public innovation and the impacts of technology adoption on the organizational structure and public employees’ behaviors. My current works examine what leads to information sharing and how it affects service provision in the context of homelessness. I worked with Dr. Jeremy Hall on my dissertation on three public innovations for reducing administrative burdens in service provision. I served as a postdoctoral scholar at the Center for Public and Nonprofit Management at the University of Central Florida. 

I received my BA and Master's degree in public administration from Korea University in South Korea.
