I am a research scientist at Caltech. 

I am interested in exploring the thermo-hydro-mechano-frictional properties of rocks and faults. My research aims to enhance our understanding of subsurface geomechanics, earthquake modeling, and energy-related reservoir management, with a particular focus on the behavior of faults and fractures under coupled thermal-hydraulic-mechanical conditions. Ultimately, this will lead to better prediction of natural and induced seismicity as well as safer and more efficient use of subsurface resources for energy and carbon storage. Throughout my research, I have examined various subtopics using numerical simulations and laboratory experiments.
