KULT is the official club ultimate frisbee team of The University of Kentucky, getting its name as a mixture of "Kentucky" and "Ultimate." We compete in USA Ultimate sanctioned tournaments as a part of the East Plains section of the Great Lakes region. Our preseason takes place in the fall semester and consists of 1 try-out tournament with 2-3 additional competitive preseason tournaments. Once all of our athletes return from winter break, our regular season begins and our A-team typically competes in 3-4 sanctioned tournaments around our region before entering the postseason. In addition to our competitive A team, we also field a developmental team which attends 4-5 tournaments throughout the school year as well. We look to compete at the highest level through hard work, passion, and a hell of a good time.
