Kushal Yuva Program
Kushal Yuva Program (KYP) is a part of one of the “7 commitments” namely “Aarthik Hal, Yuvaon ko Bal”. This program is targeted at all aspirants in the age group of 15-28 years (Age limit for SC/ST, OBC & People with Disabilities is as follows: SC/ST - 33 years, OBC - 31 years, PwD - 33 years), who have passed at least 10th Class irrespective of their having attained higher education or their currently pursuing higher education.Through this program, BSDM intends to enhance the employability of these youth of Bihar.
Self Help Allowance (SHA)
Self Help Allowance is for those children who are 12 pass and resident of Bihar and have not been able to study after 12 for any reason. Under Self Help Allowance, Bihar government will give 1000/- per month to such student for 2 years. But a rule will also apply with those students that they will also have to do skilled youth program in these 2 years to improve their skills, otherwise the last 5 installments or other installments can be stopped.
Student Credit Card
A loan of up to 4 Lakh will be given by the Bihar government to the student to do any course after 12 from anywhere in India. Also, if the student does not get a job, then the loan will not be forced to return. The girl and the physical handicap will be able to repay the loan with 1% interest and the boy will be able to pay 4% interest on getting the job. Course are Listed such as BA, BCA , BAA, B.Sc, B.Com, MBA , MCA , MA , M.COM , GNN, ANN, B.PHARMA , D. PHARMA , B.TECH, MEDICAL and Other Courses.
