Eve's Creation
God knew he would eventually want to create another form of life so Adam would not be alone. God thought if he were to create a new form of life, he would have to take some of Adam's body parts to use as inspiration. The creation of a man and then of a woman was perfect in God's eyes because Adam was born with two faces. One of them was used for the birth of Eve.
God had to truly think about how he would create a woman, since this had never been done before. God knew that the woman's body and creation would be completely different than a man. God wanted the creation of a woman to be different than a man so they could bring new life into the world. He wanted a woman to be created as if you can easily distinguish the difference between a man and woman's body. He wanted her to elegant, beautiful, and captivating. He did not want to use the exact body structures from Adam because God believed a woman should have her own physical traits.
The formation of woman is much different than a male as well because the female body was ideally to be built for the function of childbearing, which is the ability to become pregnant and give birth to either a man or a woman. God is the creator of giving women the ability to give birth so new life can be created. The voice of a woman is piercing and high-pitched, whereas a man's voice is low-pitched and powerful. God knew that Eve would be Adam's other half, and forever change the life and creation of mankind.
In order to create Eve, God decided to have Adam fall into the deepest sleep a man could be in. Eve started to form from a rib of Adam’s and then continued to be formed into a woman. Eve was given long, luscious brown hair and big blue eyes.
When Adam woke up from his deep sleep, he noticed there was a new creation in front of him. The creation was Eve. Adam saw how beautiful Eve was. He instantly fell in love. He was captivated by her. Adam knew God made Eve for him. He could not believe that Eve and he were going to be the reason for the creation of mankind.
The angels sang at the wedding. God presented Eve to Adam, and God pronounced his approval and blessings to the married couple. The angels were freaking out when the bride and groom kissed each other, but God knew this was the beginning of mankind. Adam and Eve were smiling from ear to ear. Their love and compassion for each other was contagious.
The angels and God all danced together to celebrate the beauty of this marriage. God knew he made the right decision. He knew that creating Eve for Adam would forever change life itself, human life. God was in awe of his creation and what it will do for mankind.
Authors Note: I really enjoyed reading the original story of Adam and Eve. I used lot of Jewish folktales and legends that come from Ginzberg's Legends of the Jews. I am a Christian, so I knew of the story of Adam and Eve. I used Jewish folktales in my story since some of the statements I made are not from the Bible. Sometimes it is hard to understand some of these stories since they were written three thousand years ago, but it pushes me to learn how to understand the true meanings of these stories and how I can re-create them. I changed a lot of the story since I don’t understand the usage of words in the original story. I made my story more of a perspective from God and why he made Adam and Eve. I used my own imagination in this story to make it my own. That is why I also chose to write this story in the first place because I know the original story about them. I focused on God’s creation of Eve and why she was so important. If Eve was not made, we not have human life or females. I think this story is inspiring and was fun for me because I enjoyed thinking outside of the box. I am excited for my classmates to read my story and let me know what they think. It is always great to get other opinions on my schoolwork and advice on how to be more creative.
