Get to know your teacher a little more!
I grew up in a small town called Clarkston, located in Oakland County which is about 40 minutes north of Detroit. After graduating high school, I attended Western Michigan university where I achieved my bachelors in English and my masters in secondary education, which has allowed me to teach all of you!
Family is my everything and I value my relationship with them very much. My older sister, Chloe, doubles as my best friend and I couldn't imagine life without her. When I'm not in school, you'll find me relaxing and spending time with them or my friends.
I believe in creating a space for my students where they always feel welcome. Nothing is more important to me than ensuring the safety of my students and building an area where they feel comfortable to share their opinions. My classroom is based on mutual respect and the strong relationships I can create with my students.
