HAYS Robotics Half day Camp
"Scientists study the world as it is, engineers create the world that never has been"
"Scientists study the world as it is, engineers create the world that never has been"
Our mission is to bring the Hays community a fun and engaging way to learn robotics (and to give some time off to these hardworking parents!). We believe learning and enjoyment are two of the most important things in life, so we thought why not bring them together?
Mr. Glynn and Grant Dohmen are the founders of the program. Mr. Glynn has been teaching engineering and robotics at Barton Middle School for 11 years, with over 20 years of total teaching experience. Grant Dohmen is a teenager who has always been passionate about business and creating; he has five years of engineering experience and was the original driving force behind this idea. Together, they share a love for robotics and community and are excited to teach these skills while creating a fun and engaging environment.Â
Our Hays Robotics Camp is located at Barton Middle School (4950 Jack C Hays Trail, Buda, TX 78610).
At Hays Robotics, a half-day camp, students learn how to design and build functional robots using the VEXcode program. Our goal is to make this often challenging-to-learn activity approachable, engaging, and fun for everyone!
