I am an Associate Professor of Economics in West Point's Department of Social Sciences and I am the Director of Long-Term Research in the Army's Office of Economic and Manpower Analysis (OEMA). I am also an NBER Research Associate and an IZA Research Fellow. My primary research interests are labor economics, public economics, the economics of education, and market design. I am currently a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Army.
