The matrix below clearly illustrates how each artifact (key assessment/project) included in the e-Portfolio meets one or more professional standards through their corresponding performance indicators. The Xs, identify which performance indicators are addressed by each artifact.
Project Summary Tables
Below are the project summary tables for the six key assessments that will be showcased and evaluated:
Project 1 – EDTC 6320: Cooperative Project
Project 2 – EDTC 6321: Instructional Unit (IU’s 1-4)
Project 3 – EDTC 6323: Interactive Multimedia Object
Project 4 – EDTC 6325: E-Learning Module
Project 5 – EDTC 6332: Educational Technology Practicum
Project 6 – E-Portfolio
EDTC 6320 - Cooperative Project
Project Description: Collaboratively, we designed an instructional multimedia solution to help educate prospective students about the field of Educational Technology.

EDTC 6321 - Instructional Design Project (IU’s 1-4)
Project Description: The ADDIE model of instructional design was used to create and evaluate an Instructional Unit (IU). The purpose of the entire IU was to help close the performance gap for introductory anatomy students learning osteology at the first-year university level. Learners who successfully complete this training will be able to identify the bony landmarks and general anatomical terminology of the cervical spine.

EDTC 6323 - Interactive Multimedia Object
Project Description: With the purpose to educate learners on converting between fractions, decimals, and percentages, hypermedia and multimedia tools were selected to develop the content of the course. Google Sites was the web-based technology of choice to place the video created using Doodly and exported to YouTube.

EDTC 6325 - E-Learning Module
Project Description: An e-learning module was created in Canvas to address numeracy gaps related to operations with fractions for grade 7 and 8 mathematics students (specifically subtracting fractions with uncommon denominators). This e-learning module will serve as one of several tools as part of the School Development Plan (SDP) with the purpose of improving educational outcomes, reducing time required for individual teachers to create instructional tools (reusability), and will reduce resources required to close gaps for learners that require remediation.

EDTC 6332 - Educational Technology Practicum Project
Project Description: An instructional solution was created to help close the performance gap for grade 7 and 8 mathematics students learning multiplication of fractions. The intention of this instructional solution is to address numeracy gaps specific to operations with fractions. The instructional solution consists of a 4 module e-learning course hosted in the Canvas LMS. The project culminated with formative evaluations of the instructional solution from a subject matter expert and peer-evaluator.
