In May 2025, I bought my first Dodge Charger, to replace my lost love (totalled) Ford Taurus SHO. It was a tough act to follow but I fell in love with my Charger right away! I was surprised to learn, though, after calling around that there were no mopar or HEMI clubs around me. That has got to change! So I made it a Resilient Way project to open and manage this non-profit, as far as I know the first modern Mopar/HEMI club in the Bluegrass. I wanted to support a) modern HEMI and Mopar enthusiasts, b) classic muscle car era Mopar and non-HEMI cars, such as Roadrunner, Super sports, Fire and Thunderbirds, etc., c) HEMI truck and Jeep drivers, and last but not least, d) other muscle and sport car with less emphasis on Corvette and Mustang as those groups usually have plenty of club support. Since May I have seen Chargers & Challengers everywhere, even a few Scatpacks like mine (but few widebodies). I've made many friends, and now I hope to build a tradition here. If we can grow this to be a 'problem' that would be ideal then I'd hand it over to a legit Car Club President. So please, make me work to grow this. Show up for events, and Cruise-Ins, and let me know your ideas to help make this Club of HEMI Phreaks a fit for you.
And yes I use AI, but the above was written by me and from the heart! God bless.

Terrible, I know. But imagine as time passes what kind of work and support we can give using the newest tools!
KY HEMI Phreaks is more than a car club — we’re a growing community of enthusiasts united by a love of American muscle, the rumble of a tuned V8, and the unmistakable legacy of the HEMI engine.
We're Kentucky-based, open to all ages, and centered around the driving experience — whether you're cruising in a modern Charger, wrenching on a classic Challenger, or just love talking shop. While our focus is modern Mopar (especially HEMI-powered cars), we welcome all kinds of American muscle — from classic Roadrunners and Super Bees to Mustangs, T-birds, Pontiacs, and more.
No drama, no egos — just genuine gearheads and builders
Events built around driving, showing, and sharing the passion
Respect for the old school with appreciation for new tech
A place where V6s are welcome, classics are respected, and HEMIs get the spotlight
We organize quarterly events, local cruises, show collaborations, and track days at Kentucky’s top venues — with a calendar that balances family-friendly fun with serious performance culture.
🔧 Boomers and Gen Xers who remember when Detroit ran the world
🚘 Millennials tuning their daily drivers
⚡ Gen Z learning the difference between torque and talk
Whether you're bone-stock or fully built, daily driver or trailer queen, if you respect the craft and love the ride, you’re in the right place.
Driven by HEMI passion
Open to anyone who gets it

🏛️ Our Nonprofit Status
KY HEMI Club, LLC operates as a social and recreational organization under IRS Section 501(c)(7) of the Internal Revenue Code. This designation applies to clubs organized for pleasure, recreation, and other non-profitable purposes where substantially all activities are for the benefit of members.
We exist to bring together Dodge, Mopar, and American muscle car enthusiasts across Kentucky and the surrounding region. Our mission is to create a lasting community of drivers who share a passion for HEMI-powered performance, classic restoration, and automotive camaraderie — without the influence of commercial or private financial interests.
We are not organized for profit. All club dues, donations, and income are used solely to support club operations, events, prizes, and member services.
No earnings benefit private individuals. No officer, director, or member may personally profit from the club's income or assets.
Donations are not tax-deductible. Unlike 501(c)(3) charities, contributions to a 501(c)(7) are not deductible as charitable donations under federal law. However, they support a valuable social purpose.
We may charge membership dues. These dues help cover operating costs, organize shows and cruises, maintain club gear and awards, and support public events.
We are inclusive. Membership is open to all, regardless of background or identity. While we’re centered on Mopar performance, we welcome respectful participation from non-Mopar and allied car enthusiasts.
We maintain transparent records and file the required federal documentation to remain in good standing. As our club grows, we aim to establish a permanent base of operations, expand our public outreach, and build long-term relationships with car shows, sponsors, and youth tech programs.
