Effective date: October 5, 2026
This policy explains how Carrot Caper, a game made by Kwirloo ("we"), handles your information.
The short version
We (Kwirloo) don't collect any personal information and don't have servers, accounts, or analytics. The Android app shows ads from Google AdMob, and Google collects some device information to show and measure those ads, as described below.
Information stored on your device
To remember your progress, Carrot Caper saves the following only on your own device: your best score and total carrots stashed, the carrots in your wallet and the shop upgrades and items you have bought, whether you have bought Remove Ads, how many bosses you have beaten, and your sound and music settings. This information never leaves your device, and we cannot see it. Uninstalling the app (or clearing the site data in your browser) deletes it.
Information we collect
None. Carrot Caper has no sign-in and no analytics. Carrots are earned only by playing and can't be bought with money. The game does not access your contacts, location, camera, microphone, photos, or files.
Advertising (Android app)
The Android app shows ads from Google AdMob: a full-screen ad now and then between runs, and short videos you can choose to watch for a reward (escaping the fox or doubling your carrots). To show and measure ads, and to prevent fraud, Google may collect information such as your device's advertising ID, IP address, device type, and how you interact with the ads. Kwirloo does not receive this information. Google's use of it is covered by Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads
If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK, or Switzerland, the app asks for your consent before showing personalized ads, and you can change your choice at any time with the Ad choices button on the title screen. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your Android settings.
In-app purchase
The Android app offers one optional purchase, Remove Ads, which turns off the ads between runs. Payment is handled entirely by Google Play; we never see your payment details. Google Play tells the app whether you own Remove Ads so it can restore it if you reinstall.
Permissions
The Android app requests the Internet permission (for the built-in web view, ads, and Google Play purchases), the Vibrate permission for short rumbles when you get hit or grab a helper, and the permissions Google's ad and billing libraries need (the advertising ID and Google Play Billing). The game itself does not send your progress anywhere.
Playing on web game sites
If you play Carrot Caper on a website such as CrazyGames, that website's own privacy policy covers its site, accounts, and ads. This policy covers the game itself.
Children
Carrot Caper is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
If a future version changes how data is used, we will update this policy and the effective date before that version is released.
