This study aims to optimize the integration of natural daylight in office building design to enhance visual interaction between indoor and outdoor environments, reduce reliance on artificial lighting, and promote a healthier work environment. The research focuses on identifying effective natural daylight strategies for working spaces and simulating building forms that maximize daylight penetration. The project is set against the backdrop of increasing electricity tariffs in Malaysia and the energy-intensive nature of deep plan building layouts. By proposing an innovative office building typology that incorporates natural daylight, this study seeks to improve building efficiency, reduce energy consumption, and foster a more productive and healthy work environment. These abstract captures the main objectives and context of your research, highlighting the importance of natural daylight in office design and its potential to improve both environmental sustainability and employee well-being.
